Dan Aid

Dan Aid is voluntary organisation that aims to raise awareness and offer help and advice to young people about the health risks associated with body piercing - see www.danaid.com.

Using money secured from the South Yorkshire Community Foundation and Sheffield City Council’s Small Grants Fund, Moving Frame has worked closely with Dan Aid to produce a self-standing resource pack that is being piloted in approximately fifteen secondary schools in Sheffield. Moving Frame has produced over forty three minutes of specially shot video that underpins the lesson plans that lie at the heart of the pack. As well as producing the video, Moving Frame is giving educational consultancy and assistance with project management.

The pilot phase is due to be completed by Easter 2012 when Dan Aid will be looking to launch the completed pack.
